His parts are made from overseas, says he makes them himself! He uses other vendors pics of parts and sales them as his, which looks nothing like what he sends you. I ordered a downpipe wastegate combo last year, I have been having boost issues, thought it was the wastegates, come to find out it is the craftman ship of the down pipe, bend flanges, upper and lower.

His wastegates ARE made in china! Only buy from supporting vendors that are listed on here.. G-body has not disapointed me at all! GN1 performance wanted me to send the downpipe back so he could take it apart and look at it, what logic is in that? I am new to the buick world, I have learned my lesson, buy from the best and buy the best. Don't discourage your car by putting cheap crap on it. They deserve better!! Enough said...

I purchased my externally gated DP from GN1 Performance. The wastegate is a Tial and works awesome. The DP fits and looks good. The test/dump pipe fits so tight that it needs no clamp. Archie treated me very well and makes himself available to talk too or to ask questions. Some people on here will continue to bash him to due to not being a paying vendor. I have sent PMs to two of the Admins here asking why he was treated so badly when CLEARLY there are other paying vendors on here that should have been given a vacation for the way that they publicly deal with their customers in such a rude manner, neither PM was answered. I find this to be a little on the political side involving friendships of the parties involved. Archie did me right, no complaints here. The TR community is relatively small as far as vendors go, if everyone that had a bad dealing with a vendor over one item stopped dealing with that vendor...my guess would be that ALL of them would be out of business. It is the after-sale service that sets most of them apart. Archie will do whatever it takes to make things right and that says alot. Please make your own decisions as to who to deal with. I will buy from where I get the best service whether they support this board or not. There is one supporting vendor here that I will not deal with...EVER.

That said, my only purchase from GN1 was my DP. My vendor that I deal with constantly is Jack Cotton and where all of my other purchases made. Jack is a great guy to deal with and we have become friends. We BS a couple times a week whether its cars or sports.

I have bought several parts from GN1, and so far all of them worked without a problem, even if they are made in china as long as they work the way they are suppouse to, I have no problem at all with this vendor and will continue to buy from him.
