Any feedback on this unit here? Any gain from a Steve Monroe stock ported unit?

thanks for any input!

Honestly, it depends on your goals.
If you're wanting to run 10's, it's overkill as many people have run 10's with one of Steve's ported and modified stockers.
If you're wanting to run in the 9's or better, yes, you could see a nice gain.
What's your goals? (I didn't check your profile, sorry)

Not going 9s
10s are there now

Reason I ask is I’m about to throw a new turbo on it and am trying to batch a few upgrades together

What size up-pipe you running? It's really not needed unless your in the 9s but if you run a 3 inch uppipe it will be close to that. If you want it get it. Just like people putting champion race intakes on there 12 sec car

I just put one on my new "max effort" 109 build.

1. It looks bad ass.
2. It mates up to the 3" intercooler pipe
3. I had a bone stock throttle body and im building a mid 9 second car, so it made since.

No regrets, nice piece. I called him up and I had it two days later.

right on.....3-3 would be nice, i m going to have a 2.5 compressor outlet. bottle neck is there.. but i may pull the trigger on this instead of a 3.5 downpipe

One of the nice things about the GN1 throttle body is the positioning of the IAC. No need for an angle boss if you're running a 4" intake.

I have a Steve Monroe TB on my car. Nice crisp throttle response.
I just had my throttle body/upper plenum ported by him and man what a difference it made. I now have a very quick throttle response, due to these mods.
