GNX hat

I recently found and contacted the original owner of my GNX. The owner actually died but his widow and son were extremely cool to talk with. They stil had the numbered book and jacket and let them go to me for a reasonable price. They no longer had any of the dealer paper work or anything else. I was thought I had read somewhere that they came with a GNX hat also. Is this true and were they numbered??

Hat yes...Numbered, I think no. I would have to go look at mine.

I have a NOS hat still in plastic for my car....It is not numbered.

The hat was never part of the package included with the car from Molly designs. Molly did offer a line of accessories available to buyers.

OK, so Molly sold hats after the fact, but they did NOT come with the jacket and book from ASC or dealer?

Hats were NOT part of the package.....Molly sold them to the public.....The original GNX owners did not get the jacket or book until early 1988....
