An old friend gave me several GNX emblems today. They look exactly like correct GNX emblems but also have a tiny letter "r" after the X. There's one for the trunk lid and one for the grill with instructions on how to install. They were sold in 1989 by a company called Advanced Vehicle Concepts in Grand Rapids Michigan. Does anyone know anything about them?

Also gave me 4 new GNX wheel center cap stickers which look like genuine stickers (no "r" at the end) How can I tell if they are real or reproductions? Thanks.

AVC made GNX dash's as well, theyre an old company that I think is out of buisness.Nice stuff IMO

Somthing doesnt look right with the center's???

The GNX emblems look pretty good besides the r.Nothing a little grinding wouldnt fix;)

My buddy had a new GN sent out to get a GNX conversion done back in 87,They used GNXr badges on it.
Was teh repro companys own badge

I posted a pic of the emblems last night and it was in this thread but now is gone. Did it get removed for some reason?

Who is AVC? Do you mean ASC?

AVC is Advanced Vehicle Concepts. They, and another company called Quality Engineering, made aftermarket, reproduction style GNX unique parts (dashes, louvers, flares and suspension). Both companys are OOB
