My car is at the body shop, and the original doors where toast (all manual), I found a pair of clean electric doors. I was told that the wiring harness for the electric doors is there, just have to find it(under the dash?). We have all the switches, new upper interior door panels. So this is a easy conversion right? The car is out of town, at the body shop, all taped/papered off at the moment.
Thanks,

Chuck

I just aquired locks & windows from 82 Park Avenue. Haven't had time to check them out yet. I still need under dash harness. Might find a lot of work fitting Park Avenue windows, hohever, it won't be first time something wasn't plug & play.

I just got home from a long trip today, tired, worn out, and I see this video.......my God, I laughed my butt off!!! Then I clicked on one of the other set of videos by this guy, Red Green, on how to change the oil.....been laughing so hard I can hardly see.

GNRick, a big thanks to you for sharing this with us. Haven't seen such funny, rediculous car stuff in a long time. How you found such stuff is beyond me, but great job!!!!

To be serious, it is not as easy as it sounds if you are not mechanicly inclined.. It is gonna take a drill, bit, rivvet gun, rivvets, patience, small hands are helpful, and it REALLY helps if you know these cars well. The harness is a bit** to run through the rubber tunnel to get to the doors. Save yourself or them or whoever is doing it some time and tell them to tie a shoe string to the end of the harnesses so they can carefully pull the harness through. Make sure the right window harness gets put in the right door as well! Again, small hands help as well as knowing these cars. If you have patience it will not be that rough...

Oops, scratch what does not apply...it is late and bla bla. You will have all that you need assuming the new doors have the harness in them. Your car will not have the harness that snakes through the doors themselves.. What you do have is the plug-ins tho. Make sure the new doors have the harnesses hanging...If not, PM me. I have what you need. :D :D
