well most of you guys know what happend last november. Well i have an 8.5 in the car from nick and its time to change a few things so it doesnt break. Anyways im looking at doing the axles. Just going with the 28 spline c-clip style Moser's. Anyone have the hook up on these? Also did some reading and people say you should go with the 1/2 studs at 3ich long. From what i can tell you would have to order the axles from either moser or gearsrus.com and tell them this so they can drill the axles to except this. Is this True? Also i plan on doing a TA rear cover on the rear as well. I think this should hold up to my low 11's goal. Best 60 foot so far was a 1.60 but i plan to better that once i get a trans brake.

I was using orig rearend, with mosers 28 spl, C clip, 7/16 studs,
went 11 flat @130, over 600 rear wheel HP. and diff cover.
if thats as fast as your going, ( roll bar needed to go 10's) stick with that set up.

Moser axles with 1/2"X3" studs , c clip elim, and (Nick M ) TA rear cover
+1 w/ an Auburn Posi Pro Unit
when i had nick do my rear axle i ordered the axles from summit, i think they were around $340? i had him put the stock wheel studs back in. i had them shipped to him and he got me a ta cover $160, $100 for gasket/ bearing set and $100 to slap it all together. hope that helps.

Call me, have a complete set up here with c-clips elims and axles. Can do a trade in lots cheaper then re-doing yours.
Or sell yours and get this for a great deal. We put a 9" Strange in a customer's GN we are doing over including back-half.

got any part numbers on hd u-joints? best place to get them? sorry to jack your tread brent, got to thinkin and i should prolly do this now also.
