AND SEAT! The steering wheel would have "bumps" in it after THAT! The tire shake may have caused it, but my nerves "shakin'" would have prevented me from getting outta the car for about an hour!
That's one of the reasons I am having trouble building the '71 Comet (maverick) with my twin turbo 5.4 FOUR valve. Too short of a wheel base. I could stretch the car 'bout 10"-12" though, by lengthening the front fenders behind the front wheels and in front of the door and stretching the cowl? 1000-1,400 hp and a billion ft. lbs is gonna be a hand full with short wheel base. Dyno Don tuned a four door Maverick in Pro Stock in 1975. But, only for weight break rules they had then for small block/long wheel base cars. (considered one of the goofiest Pro-Stock race cars of all time)
