Goodyear eagle ss drag radials

Ok...they're cheap and don't look terribly good...but has anyone tried them and do they work? At $188 each...someone here must have given them a shot. Looking at getting a pair of 255/50 16.

Summit racing. They look like a new design and being marketed that way. New compound, tread etc.
At $40 cheaper than the m&t's per tire...I'm thinking "how bad can they be"?

Google Goodyear drag radial. There are a few guys on the bullet talking about them. I was just looking at them myself. Don't know which I will end up with.

I ran the old design 275/40r17 on a 6 speed GTO 6.0 with 450ish RWHP. Consistent 1.7 60ft with about a 4500 launch. When I get my new wheels I am definitely going to run them!

if your looking for bang for your buck the nitto nt555r is a great street performer and a tad bit cheaper.....
