Just got her running yesterday....

Before (around February when I got the car)

After (today)

As you can see my brake unit is still not cleaned up, nor is my exhaust side of the turbo....theres also a few other things I let go....hopefully in the next 2 years I will save up enough $$ for a TE-33, heads, bigger injectors, and TC. When I dis-assemble to do all that I plan on hitting everything I missed and be done with it!

Let me know what you think...

what company did you get the stainless u pipe from, how much was it,do you have to remove the turbo to put it on? also where can i find one of the super six emblems that go on the intake it looks like it was missing in your before pic and was there in the after, also how much does an adjustable wastegat cost and where did you get yours?

THe intake was not painted I just polished it up and it will most likely dull sooner or later B/c it is naked....next time I take it apart I will do it roght and powder coat EVERYthing....

The uppipe is an ATR piece..cost $130 after gasket and freight and the # is 864-972-3800 part # AA704-84 and you do NOT have to remove the turbo....but it made it 10000x's easier once I removed the accesory bracket....

And the intake button thing was missing and I found it in the ash tray(you should have seen the shape of this car...yuk) and I just put her back on...i dont know where you can get an OEM one but let me know if you find out b/c mine isn't perfect....

later, steve

oh and the adjustable wastegate was already there but you can get one from any vendor for like $90-$100 but you can easily make your own by doing it yourself....check gnttype.org for the article....

Wow, that is looking really good under your hood, for sure.

That pic will be some good motivation for when I finally get to mine, to know that it can look that good. I hate to think about how much work I have ahead of me, though, it has been soooo neglected, I hate to admit.
