Well I finally got some times today and it was about what I expected.
Running 22psi in 1st and second and 20psi in third
Thrasher 108
275/50 DR's with about 18psi
Locking the convertor at the line

The best 60' I could get was a 2.3:mad:
I ran a 13.2 at 106 was the best. Once I got the hang of things I was consistently in the 104-105 range, with one 106. I was happy with that considering I have a badically stock car. But I tried leaving off idle, with 2psi boost, 4 psi boost, feathering the throttle, the UNGN "punch it" method, everything. I wish I could have videotaped it because it felt like I was loosing traction as soon as the boost came on.

When I would launch, even at 4 psi there would be a little lag before the turbo spooled up every run. Would this be because I am too rich on the low end? What am I missing

Oh yeah, the other thing that leads me to believe its rich down low is sometimes my car does not want to do a burnout. It will build boost slowly and not want to go over four pounds. Other times it will jus light them right up. Whats up with that?

Get a Turbolink on that thing and see what it is doing. My car runs rich off the bottom as well, and doesn't really lean out until half track or so.
What fuel pressure are you running?
I can't run 45psi vac. off, it is way too rich.
I ran my best ever time yesterday(my sig) with 38psi fuel pressure.

I know I need turbolink. But that wont happen until I get my laptop and that will be a while:(
I will see if I can get it down and still have enough fuel @ WOT

Any other opinions? What will give me the best bang for my buck? Boxed control arms? Airbags?

Right side air bag at 20 psi is a good start. If its soft down low are you sure you don't have a header crack or crossover leak?

Are you sure you were doing it correctly? :) The "punch it" method involves building as much boost as the brakes will hold, then "punching it", only then letting off the brakes. You really need to have a lot of air in the airbag for this method to work without the tires going up in flames.

Airbags are good, as are boxed lower control arms. Both help out the launch quite a bit.
I can hold 14psi boost on the brakes now that I boxed the lower control arms.
Prior to that I could hold about 10psi. Just for fun remove your front sway bar at the track. You will gain .1-.15 on your 60ft.
Make sure that your rear brakes are in good working order and adjusted tight.
What rpm does your converter stall at when you are at 4psi or so?

Thats probably where I screwed up then, because I was punching it AFTER I let off the brake. And I did not have an airbag installed. They are cheap and I will get one before next time. I know the header is fine, as far as the crossover all I can say is I have no ticking noises.

I am going to mess with the FP a little and see if it helps my spool up any.
