Ok ive got the NX kit ready to install now heres the deal . I plan on running it only with c16 which is coming from a sumped 10gal cell through a paxton pump into AN8 to the rail . Now im planning on spraying a 75 shot through the 1/4 with boost set @ 16 pre nitrous so with the juice it should go up to 19-21 lbs max . The real ??? is could i use the Reds chip w/ 21deg timming ive got or should i go lower . Also Bottle heaters i assume im going to need that for N.Y weather anything other than summer and lastly nitrous filter a need or not . Ive got a purge with the kit. Any one that want to chime in with bottle pressures for best perf. , Jet sizes or whatever . Thanks

Come on Nitrous users ,its OK to admit you have a drug problem , and are running the stuff . Answers Please .

I'll keep to my liquid diet.. :D

I dunno..see race gas 116 needs timing to burn it.. and the same time NOS makes kr with insufficient octane.Start it at lower boost with the chip you have and shake it down. If everything checks ok..up the boost..just monitor the KR and you should be fine. Lower timing is typically safer...

I'll let you know next year if I decide to play with the stuff.

Are you running a wet shot or dry? If it's wet you don't want bottle pressure to run under 1,000 psi. If it's a dry shot don't run it under 900.
Jet size for dry is .43 with spray nozzel placed before MAF sensor.
Jet sizes for wet is .53 for n.o.s. jet and .33 for fuel jet placed close to the throttle body.
Use a bottle warmer to "maintain" bottle pressure not to create it. Warm the bottle to desired pressure before you leave the house. I put mine in the bathtub filled with warm water and take it out when it reaches 1,200 psi. I then put it in the car and use the warmer to maintain that pressure. A botlle warmer is too small to take a bottle from 800 psi back up to a 1,000 on it's own.

I run 12 lbs of boost when I squeeze and it climes to 16. This is done on 100 octane fuel. I normally run 21 lbs when I don't squeeze however the car is still faster when I make "fake boost".
Good luck and don't be afraid to hit that button. It saves alot of space in your signature, space that can be used for low track times
:D

What is your setup? ie intercooler, turbo, injectors, and rest? Botlfed runs 21 advance with 75hp nos system and 20lbs boost includ boost from nos. And he has done it probably in the hundreds of times. Psi wise he run 1000 most the time. He has stock turbo, intercooler, longblock, 30lb injectors, dumppipe, stock tranny. He best time is 11.60 at 118mph in las vegas nv. I burned his chip for him. If you have any questions just ask.

Get a filter, don't take a chance of a piece of trash getting in the nitrous soleniod:eek: .

I would start out low and work your way up with the hose:D .

I used a small auto heater from auto zone to keep the bottle pressure up.
Just can't forget and leave it on too long:eek: .

I knew a guy that over heated the bottle in his kitchen sink and blew the rupture disk, I think he and his wife crapped thier pants:D
