I know this topic has been done a million times but heres my take on it. Also, forgive me if any "Actual GN Owners" do this (I'd be surprised if they do)

I know people refer to GN's as Montes and all that stuff but this one drives me insane.

My annoying neighbor who acts like a car guy but just plain doesn't have a clue comes out yesterday and tells me this story about how his friend had a "Grand Nash!" His "Nash was so fast that it would burn the tires for miles." One day they were driving his "Nash".......lol

I hope you get the idea. I have never once heard an acual GN/T owner refer to them as "Grand Nash's or Nash's one time. I have know hundreds of GN owners dating back to the mid 90's.

Does this bother anyone else?

doesnt bother me... its all about "T" s not GN s when i get to discussing these cars.....but yes i have heard the nash term thrown around a lot

I'd rather my car be called a Grand Nash than a Grand Am....yes that has happened before :(

I've heard a million,especially when I'm a G-body defender.

-"Cutlass's are for cheezy lowriders"
-"had a friend with a Hurst Olds, man that thing was crazy" me: thats def a 16 second car, "what, really?"
-"why would you want to buy an '86,I thought the 87's blah blah"
-"can you imagine that car with a 454 in it?"
-"man those Malibu's are fugly, fix one up are you kidding?"
-"A El Camino reminds me of a Centaur"

I've been lucky so far with the name. But I have had NUMEROUS people ask if it's still a V6 with the hood popped open...

Mostly, people call my car a Regal. So you guys are ahead of the game if you ask me!

ex-GF called it a 'National', never used the word 'Grand'............

I've been having the reverse of the typical GN naming issues since getting my car. People would say "Nice Grand National" and I'd say, "No, its not a Grand National, its a blacked out T". After several confused looks I now say "Yeah, thanks".

I actually have a non-car guy friend who says grand nash... I've corrected him once or twice so I suppose he does it to bug me... I pick on his stupid cars all the time... :)
