So upon a little brainstorming I noticed that the grab bars on some of my works delivery trucks was awfully close looking to a grand prix brace. After some measuring I had our fleet maintenance manager order me one. It arrived and it fit like a glove. These are made from high strength aluminum so they work just as good as the steel bars that came on the grand prix from the factory but are lighter. They sit 1.5" below the front rad support so they may or may not work with a FMIC. If anyone is interested I can have him order some more. Total cost to you is $50 shipped. Right now I'll just see if anyone wants them and if so when I get them in my possesion you can send me funds then.

Sure would be nice to know if it will fit with a front mount. Looks like it may be a little less than 1.5 inches. i will have to measure when I get home tonight.

It is 1.5" but it looks less because of the shadow and reflection. If your front mount pipes have atleast 1.5" gap between them and the core support then this should work for you.

Are the holes already there for the brace?

Are the holes already there for the brace? And would they come with bolts needed to install the brace? And do they make a difference with having t-tops I already have the rear seat braces under the hood braces and the v braces underneath the front end?

This brace mounts in the same holes as the v braces (jounce bars) underneath the front end so you would use the same bolts as the ones already used for mounting the other 2 braces unless they end up being too short then you would just need longer bolts. The jounce bars may have some interference with this bar being they're mounted at the same points so you may need to do some adjusting to one or the other. Also any extra bracing you can put on these cars will help especially with T-Tops.

It looks like a nice, clean fit.

I would like to see a picture with this cross bar mounted along with the V- braces.

I have a new Kirban cross brace that I haven't installed yet. I don't have an intercooler, so this would tuck up nicer than the Kirban cross brace. I would like to get this if it works well with the currently installed V-braces.

Thanks, Dimitar
