Anybody know how to wire in an external switch to change between "lo" and "hi" boost modes?

as far as I know, you have to purchase the greddy wireless sterring wheel mounted device if you want an external switch.

I wish I could remember who told me it was real easy. It was someone on this board.
I have a micro-switch on my shifter that I want to use. When in first on the transbrake it would launch under low boost then switch to high.

Scott,
How much does this controller cost. I see lots of talk about it lately.

About 290.00 shipped from several sources on Ebay. I'm still trying to figure out how to use it, so no real feedback yet. Definitely has some nice features, just a little boggling at first.

I thought you could select from high to low right at the box. I don't know how you initially set-up the controller. I have one on my car and I have it set at 19/26. I can tell that it is wired to a controller under the hood. It works pretty good. It will give you an audible alarm when you reach your pre-set boost and turn the display red. I am still learning all features.

You have a LOW/HIGH MODE on your main unit. Your valve unit is under the hood. The select button is used for HI/LO. If you hold the select button for more than 2 seconds the unit turns off. I am still palying with gain settings/start boost settings :D .

the profec S is a re-release of the standard profec, and is usually prefered over the profec B. Its a little more user friendly, and has the same low/high and gain selection.

Its what my buddy has run on his 300zxTT since the early 90's..

The Type S appears to have no warning feature, no boost lowering when warning level is hit, no peak boost storage and no display and looks to be about the same price on ebay, why would you want to use it instead of the B spec 2?

I just installed the profec B spec 2 and have driven a couple times, it works very well IMHO. Being able to tweak the boost setting from in the car while driving is very nice along with it displaying/storing the peak boost reached during a blast. Boost was basically dead on during WOT runs I made. A gain adjustment is great along with a start boost setting in which the WG will see no pressure until this value is reached so your spoolup based on WG control will be the best it can get.
