hey guys im finishing hooking up the xfi wiring harness in my turbo ls1 and had a quick question. since the wire colors on the harness are not those of a factory buick one does the green wire from the pac controller splice into the 5 volt reference wire of the signal wire for it to work? thanks guys.

green wire of pac is for the map sensor input
connect to the 3bar map sensor signal wire (output -- center pin B) not to the 5v reference

the signal output wire should read 1.6V at key on engine off

Map sensor works from 0-5v. meaning voltage on its signal output is 0-5 and varies depending on pressure applied to the port.

5 is the power to sensor and is rock solid. Meaning it doesnt change. Meaning you do no attach to the power wire on the sensor. You attach to the signal wire. Which is the middle pin on all 3 bar map sensors.

If you attach the 5v power to the signal(green wire) on my PAC controller.. my controller will think your at 30 PSI boost and run the pump at full speed.
