I dynoed a brand new GT500 today,
We changed the the blower pulley,Air intake, and custom tune

Damn these things are cool!

Made 590.4HP and 557 Ftlbs of torque on pump fuel and was insanely quiet thru the full stock exhaust.

To expensive for my blood though:D

How much stock? Sounds like pretty good numbers! May be a stupid question, but can your dyno accurately tell how fast it is in the 1/4?

Jason

and you didn't call me !!!!! ummm did you "road test" it like the GN ya just did for someone we both know  :p

Jason,He bought the car and went right to work modding it,,
So no stock numbers
My dyno also doesnt do 1/4 mile simulation

Grumpy,Russ wont give me your number or i would have called.
Hes to afraid of whay i might say to you:biggrin:

I was there when Otto dynoed and it was so smooth and quiet the only thing you heard was the blower at full throttle. At idle it was as quiet as a Lexus. It was impressive to say the least! Still has stock headers, cats and exhaust. Thing should put 625+ RWHP with headers/exhaust. Was also one of the sweetest cars I have seen in a while. Blue w/ white stripes.

Otto, from now on you should take a picture of everycar you dyno, and edit the numbers on there. Then hangthem on the shop wall. Would be neat.

Like take a picture of the car. Then edit in at the bottom of the picture the horsepower it made. Lemme see if I can find one.

But a bit bigger.

Kool idea. Think it would look better on the bottom of the page and still beable to see the car without any obstruction. Or just a small pic of the dyno results and beable to click on it to supersize it.

THe mods were done before the dyno,And yes the fuel system is stock!

Those are pretty daggum good numbers.

Back in the day, it was a polaroid and a sharpie marker to hang on the wall here in KC... HAH they are still hangin on the wall at a buddies shop.

Please post up pictures of the dyno graphs of that stock turbo regal that did what 370 + horse. I want to compare notes;)
