Only 40 something made?, its white.. i think it was a
supercobrasnake II...lol er something like that anyway.... not street legal, it was sharp.. I guess

100k for a mustang you can't drive on public roads? What are you suppose to do with it?

are we talking about a new Mustang or an old Mustang?

last summer, i went to a small car show here in town. it had maybe 30 cars- but one of them was a documented 67 Shelby with a factory Paxton supercharger and roll bar that was signed by Carrol Shelby and had all the documentation spread out in the front seats. there were kids running all over the place and climbing all over cars, but the owner of this car was nowhere to be found. i was talking to a guy that had another car there, and we came to the conclusion that this particular Shelby was easily worth well north of $100k.

i know what you are talking about... its a limited edition italian designed mustang designed by an italian super car designer as a tribute to the mustang.

i think its one of those Factory Racers, FRC-500s or something...nicknamed "Boy Racers" by Hot Rod and intended for a long titled race league thats simply called "The Miller Cup".. well if its only one of 40....probably not. the FRC500 is 125K or so and not street legal.

If you are talkig about the Iaccoca Mustang, that is a very slick looking car. And I'm not a mustang guy.

its the 2010 cobra jet, its gutted, roll cage, he said the ford team are logging mid to high 8s tinkering with stuff and the tune while this guy said he did a 10 flat with bad driver (him)

They do look good but with no title and a price like that, no thanks.

No crap ^^^ I have 2 10 second vehicles and can do it in under $30k each WITH OTHER PEOPLE HELPING.

Why would some Doctor/Lawyer pay so much ?! ---

Probably an 08 or 09 Cobrajet. They are white with a cobra on the side. They are not street legal, just for the strip. Run in the 10's right out of the box. They are badass.

It's funny.. for everyone of you that are laughing at this car....Car enthusiast's are buying every single car ford has available. These things are huge success's. Just because it isn't your niche, doesn't mean it is isn't their niche.

If I win the Lottery I'll get one too. It is badass... but definitely "exclusive". Good for Ford too.... I am glad to see the good old USA company selling cars.

the only reason to laugh at these cars is because you could build a faster car for less money. people pay for the ability to say that they have 1 of 100 (or whatever) exclusive cars.
most of them won't ever hit the drag strip- they will sit in a series of climate controlled garages for the next 40 years and only come out when it's time for a car magazine photo shoot or to roll across the stage on the future equivalent to the Barret Jackson auction.

don't get me wrong, i'm glad that the oems are building cars like this- Dodge sells a very similar Challenger drag package and Ford also sells a spec road race version of the Mustang- but the reality is that unless you've got connections within the car company or a famous name and deep pockets, you will have to build your own.
