I've battling a horrid 60' issues for awhile now.
So, I've just began to address the rear suspension components.
One of the first things my 'gut' told me and others as well is to install a good set of quality shocks. My '87 T has bone stock rear suspension except for a set of UMI lowers and a PS air bag.
My T is no rocket by any stretch (stock internals) with bolt on's. The car was leaving initially hard, but then would unload the hides about 40' out.
Anyway not to be long winded I removed the rear shocks yesterday and this is what I found. The one on the right is the one that was on the passenger side. That shock will compress with a light wind!
I though I had "ok" shocks in there. Pays to check em.
