Ecoboost is bad ass! Nice Ride!

We just bought my dad a non Ecoboost version and he loves it. We couldn't talk him into the ecoboost.

There are some smoking deals out there on MKT's.

The ecoboost is amazing in a truck. I can only imagine how awesome it would be in a lighter vehicle like that. I don't think the non-F150 ecoboost V6 gets the full 420lb-ft of torque though but that's probably more of a tranny limitation than anything else. Great ride.

Torque is 350 in this instance. But that's probably due to several things. MUCH quieter(more restrictive) exhaust, tranny like you said, computer cal, etc.

Very nice and congrats on the purchase!
Is that the regular white or the pearl? Awesome either way.

Thanks, They make a White Platinum, and a Crystal Champagne, both pearls. Mine is the Crystal Champagne, which is just a touch less white than the Platinum. It looks lighter in the picture than it is because of the sun.

Because of all the sound deadening materials used and the special sound deadening glass that Lincoln uses, It's really and incredible experience on the road!! There's absolutely NO wind noise what-so-ever, and no tire roar. Some of the sharper bumps you feel but don't hear.

Oh, BTW, that's real Olive Ash wood!!

I bet the back seat has plenty of leg room for gangly relatives ;)

I'm looking forward to checking it out in person.

BTW, Happy Father's Day!

Not the prettiest under hood, but it gets the job done.

Thats the way most luxo-boat owners want it to look. (aside from more sound deadening....)

I might have to get one in a few years when wife.com uses up her current ride.

Here's the power plant uncovered! Minus the wireing harness, and up-pipe from the intercooler to the throttle body. It's a multi platform engine that is found in the Ford Taurus SHO, Ford Flex and the Flex's sister platform the Lincoln MKT(which I now have). All three platforms are transverse mounted engines, but because of the HP and Torque, and only be had in AWD. My MKT weighs in at a hefty 4,880 lbs without me in it!!
The engine (365HP and 350#torque) is a 10:1 CR, direct injected, twin turbo making 12# of boost on 87 octane!! I've only been driving it now for three weeks but am I ever impressed!!!!!!! There is NO turbo lag!!! Mash the throttle from a stand still an it pulls every bit has hard if not harder than my stock 87 GN!! The AWD means no tire spin which accentuates the take off grunt!! Especially in such a heavy car.

The "other" 3.5 ecoboost is found in the F150 picup in a longitudinal arrangement (making 365HP and 420#torque). That engine uses Borg Warner turbos, the transverse engines use garrett turbos.

One other little point for making power: Notice there are only two devices pulling HP off the accessory belt. A/C and Alt. No power steering pump. The high end units like the Lincoln use electric power steering assist.

This engine is just too much fun!!
