Anyone here do any cool Buick pumpkin carvings? Every year I do a pumpkin for my daughter with something elaborate on it but this year I was thinking I would do one for myself as well. Anyone have any cool ideas? I was thinking of trying the tri-shield logo or the turbo six .

here is mine

turbo six probably 2-3 hours was a newbie carver.

I will try to make a better one this year.

Possibly the GN checkerboard fender emblem.

Anyways dont laugh to hard at my chop job.

GODZILLA!!!!!

tried to make a pattern

Here is a horrible pattern. This is the 6 that I used, but kinda modified some. The slants in the 6 were freestyled when I made the original pumpkin.

These are the 2009 pumpkins thus far

Ok guys, I sold out a little bit this year and I used craft (foam) pumpkins. I am in the drought stricken south and our pumpkin crop looks real puny and all the pumpkins have defects. I believe these pumpkins are actually harder to carve in some aspects. You have to use about a third more pressure so the intricate stuff (branches on the trees) was very hard to do. These pumpkins also last supposedly for ever.

Hope you guys like them.

This was the first pumpkin of the year, I guess my warmup pumpkin.

This logo is for the company my mom works for and she wanted a pumpkin to put on her desk.

This pumpkin is actually a white pumpkin, hence the jason mask.

This design I took from a buddy's tattoo samples page on his website. Took almost as long as the last pumpkin.

The next pumpkin took me about three hours to complete. I used an exacto blade to make all the cuts first then came back with a pumpkin saw to extract the pieces.

I'm pondering at least two more designs, one of which is a buick design the other is a traditional type of design that I will carve out of a real pumpkin sometime later.

My daughter is a big fan of Sleeping Beauty so I carved the dragon into her pumpkin this year. I might have to try that Jason one I got a buddy thats a big fan of those movies.

Yeah that's the spirit, wow really nice job. How long did it take you? Looks like some pretty intricate work.

Thanks for sharing,
