Well done, my feathered friend.

Hey Spoofool2.
I found that guy and slapped him around for you.

At least....I think it was him....close enough.
Lil guy was scrappy....but he now knows what 5 across the eyes from a Vicious Rooster feels like.:D

Happy Friday!

Now, while your still there, can you ruff up the kids that are making the fake Walbro fuel pumps? I'm sure that they can get new jobs making other plastic crap to sell us. After all, Christmas is just around the corner.;)

Too late. I'm back home now. Maybe next time.
;-)

A sign of the times.

The other day, on the way home from work. I'm cruzing down PCH through Newport Beach. I saw something that struck me as kinda odd at first. It was a new, black Cadillac Escalade. From the looks of it, he must have just put the new plates on it. I'd guess that it was less than a year old. Not sure what motor it had in it, but it sounded good. The three letter side badge suggested that it was not the bottom of the line Escalade. Anyways, mounted on this thing were what must have been multi-thousand doller 28 ish" bling-bling rims, with low profile tires. Here's the kicker! The tires on this monument of wealth were totally bald. I don't just mean no tread. I mean, there was nylon showing everywhere.

And, we wonder how the heck we got our selves in to this financial cluster****?

Oh well, I better head off to work before I end up like this guy.
Hope all's well in the TB world.

Happy spooling, Happy Friday, and Happy Halloween...
Mike B.

Hey Chia-boy.
Waddaya go against baldness?

Don't be sucha hater, bro!

God only made so many perfect heads..the rest.... He kept covered with hair.

:-D

Tim,

I was thinking that yoou were going to make it to one thousand posts in your first year. You've got four hours left. Ya only need 22 more posts. Come on, you can do it.

Glad to see that everybody still has their normal sense of humor. It's important to keep one's sense of humor in times like these.
On another note, I see that everybody all of the stores are gearing up for a really poor holiday season. I notice that Wally-World is actually dropping some prices to bring in more money. I do have to admit that going to the bank on payday is not so much fun now that they are not paying any real interest on interest bearing accounts. A 100K money market now brings less than 1% APY.
Quite a difference from when they were paying 5%+ APY a while back. The economy really does suck now. And it really didn't turn it into a "Buyer's Market" either. Sort of sucks for everybody.

Gary we here in this country don't know what hard times are. Things were out of control & in order for capitalism to work every now & then there has to be periods of stabilization. I think the rest of the world is going to be hit harder than us.I just hope the next president doesn't try to over regulate everything & make matters worst. The good news is oil prices are coming back down.Thats what started this whole situation. The oil cartels are now besides themselves wondering what to do.So go buy that Z06 for 0 percent & enjoy them thousands you're sitting on. If you can't pay for it then blame GM for putting you in debt. How can you lose.

Oil prices (as far as crude oil per barrel) have been down for a while, so that does not explain why the gas prices have just started coming down drastically in the last week only. Gas & fuel prices dropping down sharply is only like a band-aid. What worries me is that if anybody knows why the prices are coming down, they who know are not saying. If we don't know what drove the costs back down, we are helpless to prevent them from sharply increasing again. I believe that the biggest factor in driving them up was American CEO's, fuel distributors, & service station owners & managers corporate greed, & speculation on the stock markets. Nobody else had a lot to gain by such a sharp increase. Trust me, the oil cartels know exactly what they are doing, and they are not doing it without reason. The oil cartels began the increase by slowing down production, and American greed & speculation did the rest.
GM is only giving 0% on the remaining '08's, and they are almost all gone except for a few on dealer lots oddly equipped, non-popular colors as far as Z06's go. The best deal locally now is Selman or Corona Chevrolet, a few Z06's left, red, black or yellow only, some 3LZ optioned, none with competition grey wheels, and probably most are / were test mules for prospective Z06 buyers a while back, only $7K off and 3 or 4 year 0% financing depending upon buyers credit rating.
I waited too long on the decision end of it. I actually looked and had opportunity to buy a silver, new in the box, showroom fresh, 2LZ optioned, Nav, basic silver wheels, for about $13.5K off (GM employee discount pricing, another $3.5K off, but no financing available at that time) which would have made it $69.3K out the door on Whittier Blvd. in Whittier. Went back 2 days later and it was gone. My guess is that we may never see as good of a deal on the '09 Z06's as we did on the '08 Z06's. Especially with the GM & Chrysler merger probably happening. Chrysler has money, GM doesn't, if that let's you know who will be in the seat of that operation.

GM just added another MSRP increase on all Corvettes straight across the board of $1500, may not affect cars already on the lot, but will affect all incoming cars. Most of the supporting CorvetteForum dealers are already discounting about GM Employee Discount pricing, or discounting slightly more. This means that even without the $1500 MSRP increase on a '09 Z06, standard color, 2LZ option, which is most common, + nav & =chrome wheels, is about $70K or so, and in Calif will be almost $ 80K out the door with tax & license.

Gary, Theirs a silver Z06 3lZ with 200 miles for $61,000 & probably could be bought for $58,000 with a favorable receipt since it's a private party listing on the corvette forum. Were I interested that's what I would be jumping on.My only question is why are people taking such loss's & dumping them that quick. If they are such great cars to begin with.
