Looks like the LS1 guys are starting to make some good power with turbos....

Yes a local guy last night went 10.9x@144.6x mph, LOTS of wheel spin.

Full weight car.

It's his daily driver/only car.

You ASSume wrong! It's a stock LS6 aluminum block bored .010 over with a stock crank (that makes it 347ci), crower Billet rods, JE pistons, ported LQ9 heads, LS6 intake, custom solid roller cam, custom 321 stainless headers/3.5" DPs, twin T-66 BB turbos, Liquid/air IC, and from what I heard the car weighs 3500lbs w/ driver.... That's about all I can remember off the top of my head... It originally had a 6-speed, but he obviously ditched it for a slushbox with a trans-brake.....

The intake is not a LS6. Its a carb. one converted to F.I. . I was there that night. Matt's car runs/looks great.

On another note....They were running a 10.5 tire heads up shoot out that night. A buddy of mine runs a turbo Mustang and ran a 7.86@180.98 . Thats with a 347ci, 98mm single turbo, and a blow through carb. I heard it was the fastest carb./turbo pass ever. I don't if thats true or not. Anybody know?

Matt, I'm not sure what the suspension setup is, but the 60' on that 8.93 pass was a 1.41....

Probably a nice BMR setup out back, with either HAL shocks, or Afco's.... 1.4X is easily done on a stock style setup.

Yeah I'm sure he has a lot more left in it with some tuning and a harder launch.... I think they said that was his first time launching off the trans-brake....

I'm sure you'd know cause I happen to remember a certain Chevelle looking at your tail lights

He has a LOT of $$$ in that car (pretty much like building a Stage2 car), but it's still very impressive for a daily driver!

I'm pretty sure that he runs pump gas and a Snow alky kit on it.

Didn't know it was a liquid intercooler.

I wonder if the Snow alky kit he has is a progressive system like the one Razor sells?? It says that he runs a 50/50 mix of water and methanol, but it doesn't say if it's progressive.... His car is a 6-speed and I think it might be the fastest poweradder 6-speed LS1 Fbody...

Okay that would make Alan the quickest (ET), but not the fastest (MPH).... Actually I think Alan ran 144mph so he's tied with this guy, but MightyMouse probably has the quickest and fastest FI (Forced Induction) 6speed LS1 F-body.... Harlan ran 10.00 @140+mph when he had the Incon TT kit and a 6speed, but now he has a PG....
