Has anyone fabbed a external wastegate on a stock header

i bet an easy way to go about this would be to use a precision housing with the wastegate hole cast into the turbine.... like the one shown above.

You may want to go with a regular adjustable actuator, not the HD. You will still be able to run 30 psi with it and the RJC. See where the boost goes with the wastegate rod off. That will be your lowest boost you can run. You don't need all that external stuff.

I always was advised and agree with the belief that once you "crush" a headgasket, intake manifold gasket or whatever - where there is a pre-formed region that commonly consists of steel and is raised - like the fire-ring of a combustion chamber - that the gasket was a one time event.

If it was my shit - I would not take the chance or re-using them - especially a headgasket.
