has anyone switched from art carr 9 inch conv to red stripe and went faster?

I am fixing to buy a buick with an art carr 9 inch converter and I was told that the car was allot faster with the red strips converter

the car has
210/210 cam
champion heads and intake
FMIC
T-63 turbo

what do you guys think
