I recently installed a set of used Poston headers on my GN. I remember the stock header's just had the metal to metal seal on the turbo, but now mine has a crazy exhaust leak a the passenger manifold to turbo flange. It is now causing me to fail inspection. :frown: I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if they fixed it with a gasket or possibly JB weld. Thanks for any input.

If your...

sure the leak is between the turbo and the flange, you can purchase a copper gasket to seal it up with, from GBodyParts.com. 717-359-9692 I think they run about $15.00.:)

Smack a gasket in there, should seal it right up. I am of the ilk that JB Weld is never going on any of my cars. It can go on my old 1986 Honda Foreman ATV, but that's about it. :D

I use the composite gasket there, turbo Riviera style not copper.

Available from Special Additions, RJC Racing, and maybe other vendors as well.

NAPA may have a Victor Reinz replacement gasket as well, G 26951 if still available is the number I have on file, it's a bit cheesier composite than what the vendors sell but may be a quick fix for inspection.

C'mon, JB weld fixes all!!! I think Ill try and get a gasket from a local speed shop. Thanks again for the advise, guys!!!!
