The 67 Lemans on in my Sig. belongs to a close friend that I do the Mech. and the driving. He is talking of going Twin Turbo`s on the BBC. Anyone know where I can find a Company that makes Headers for BBC?
What size Turbo`s can I use with 462 C.I.??

Thanks
Joe

You won't find a company that build headers for that combo. To many variables. Build a set, it's not that bad, really.

Turbo size? How much power do you want to make?

He really never said how much HP. But sure over 1000..:)

If you only want to make that much power, why not a single 88 or smaller. My GT4788 will make 1500hp a piece. Alot lot less stuff with just one turbo.

Twin 60's will make 1000 or go to 66 or 67's if he wants more. The cheap route would be cast iron stock manifolds and then build the crossover to the turbo's. Like Mark said. No one make kits for them so you'd have to pay some one to build a custom set or by the bends and have at it. I've built both of my sets and it's not that bad. It is time consuming but saves a lot of $$$. Probably 2 inch primaries is more than enough for what ever head he's running. Take a look at the Ohio Boys with the LS1 stuff.....7.70's at 187 with 6.0 truck manifolds. It doesn't take a lot of pipe to make the power. They probably have less than $100 in their headers/manifolds;)

I agree.

That's a thought..

Thanks

Make sure you go big in the turbine wheel and housing to avoid back pressure with all that exhaust velocity.
