Hey everyone... I've got a really annoying problem going on with my TTA that I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered...
My passenger side headlight assembly snaps past the bumper cover when I turn off the lights and I'm wondering what I need to do to fix this issue. I'm having to pop the hood and manually adjust the headlight assembly up while pushing down hard on the bumper cover to get it where it needs to be afterwards. Also, I just rebuilt both headlight motors with new bushings... The problem existed before this was done as well.
All body lines look great also btw.
Thanks,
Johnny

There's adjustable mechanical stops for both the up and down positions of the headlight assemblies; possibly the plastic top (it's like a screw) might be broken or it simply needs some adjustement.

Here's a picture of what I'm on about; red circle around it ... there's two of these on each headlight one for the lower and one for the upper positions. 10mm wrench will turn them in or out to adjust.

However there's also a chance that the complete assembly need moving up or down as there's several adjustments possible when installed .... have the complete assemblies been removed at some point for repaint or similar?

Thank you very much! I wasnt aware of these mechanical stops and I'll check them later this evening when I get home from work.

Not that I'm aware of but there has been two owners before me so you just never know. I will definitely check those mechanical stops and report back... Thanks again!

That was it Jan... Thank you! That nylon piece that holds that stop screw was shot so I replaced it and now everything works as it should. Thanks again for your help.
