Hearing for the first time at 29

Check out this video I found. A deaf girl hears for the first time after an implant. I couldn't even imagine what was going through her head. I was just working today in an environment where I clearly should have been using hearing protection, but I was too caught up in work to grab some. Makes me realize the things I take for granted.

Not sure i believe it,unless my understanding of not hearing for your whole life is different,I know 2 poeple that cant hear and neither sound like they been speaking for 29yrs,look at Marlee Matlin the hot actress,she sounds different...
