Hey i got a 87 regal and i just completely rebuilt the engine with a whole list of performance parts and i have a HEI distributor. I wasnt getting any spark so i did some research and one of the wires is pron to mess up or somthing so some people had ran a hot wire staright from battery, fuse, etc. few had ran it inside and put in a secret switch. I did this and it gets spark and wants to crank but as soon as i let off the key the spark completely stops and it just blubs to a stop. without that jumper wire i have no spark and with it i have spark but it wont spark without the key in the start position. Any help would be great. If that didnt seem clear for some reason let me know ill restate. Thanks all
