Just wanted to stop by to say "Hey" and see what this is all about, GN's and TR's in general.

I've had "some" experience with FI in the past and I wish to correct my previous mistakes by actually buying a decent turbo vehicle. I'll be searching some more for answers to some of my questions. I've done QUITE a lot of searching already so I have very few questions.

I'll also be in the market in a few months for ANY type of turbo regal, but I'm kind of partial to the GN. I know to be looking for an 86 or 87, T-Type or GN.

I hope THIS time is more productive of purchase than my past experiences.:frown: They were, ah, less than spectacular. OH, don't worry, they weren't Buick's. They were turbo Dodges, the 2.2 and 2.5 variety.

I hope to be a part of this group soon! It looks like fun, to say the least.

Welcome to the boards, there are always plenty of cars for sale in the forums here and you can also try your luck on eBay. Until then you can just read and learn!

Thanks for the welcome! :)

Believe me...I've seen most of the ones for sale here and wish I didn't have to wait. There are quite a few that are in price bracket :frown: Maybe they will still be here? I don't know...I'm hoping though.

One question I have already: If I was considering buying a car from here and someone from this board was closer to it than me, would it be possible for that person to check over the car in question? Like, would anyone have any qualms about doing this? I wouldn't hold anything over their head IF it was a lemon:)

Just checking my options for now. I'm not against traveling a distance but it would make the buy a little easier...

I'm sure you could at least try to set something up like that (have someone look over the car for you if they are closer to it). Must guys here are extremely friendly and accommodating, especially if they have a car that they are eager to sell. I don't think anyone would have a problem with that. Only problem would be if the guy checking out the car for you falls in love with it and decides to buy it for themselves!

Don't worry, these are rare cars but they are always plenty available for sale. You might see some nice ones now but if you aren't ready to buy for another few months, there will be nice cars available then too.
