i decide to pop out converter and check it

i know i was rebuilt 2 times by previous owners

and cant tell if its a true d5

it has marker stamps B15B hd

then on the side only a 5 is punch every inch all around

i was going to buy one but if the is a higher stall ill wait

any clue on what i got ???

thanks ,

b15 cbf is the factory original converter code for the gn.stall rating is 2050 with stck engines.if it has not been previously modified the stall can be raised to 2600 rpms and still allow it to be efficient.

any other tranny guys that have a suggestion

one week left and my engine should be done (again)

That is a very good possibility that it is a Dacco rebuilt converter. The last B15 converter I got from them for a turbo car has the "B" at the end. Otherwise they are a B15 for the 200c/200-4R or early 700 with 27 splines.
