O.k. for my professionals.

The problem. I bought a 85 t-type and the engine was rebuilt and notice the car has no power. As I notice the six hose that goes to the MAF are backward. The emergency brake light stays on consently. The speed odometer do not work. The RPM gauge stays lite up. The psi boost gauge works. The steering wheel has a lot of play in it. The emergency brake doesn't work. Can someone give me guidance. I also have a wire that's not connect to anything. The guy at the AC Delco said it may be a radiator or knock sensor. No only that the car miss fire when driving. I don't think it's nothing serious. I think they connect the hose and wires backward. Do anyone have a chart or simple instruction. PICS even. Also want to buy new spark plug wire. Which ones are the best. Which spark plugs. Just Help! sounds like you have alot of maintenance to do. go to www.gnttype.org

there will be lots of pics and diagrams for everything from exhaust to wiring.

this site will also give you a great spring cleaning step by step guide to get your TR running well.

also...look in the "BASIC HOTAIR INFO" posted by BFH...tons of usefull stuff there...you should be able to tell where most, if not all the wires/vac hoses go...you might also want to see if any malfunction codes are present (click on "Trouble Codes" in the "basic hotair info" stiky, and READ all of it...should be pretty much self-explanitory. Let us know what you find out! Good luck ;)
