Hey nice update on the TB.com homepage!

Looks good! About time we got some more members on the front page...people will come to our site and know we definitely mean business

We are going to start collecting information from outstanding members, we all think it is fair for all outstanding members to have a shot on the home page. It sends a clear message, we care about our members and recognize those that go above and beyond to represent fast cars we all love.

So, how about doing a price giveaway like the other site does to keep your members happy .. and it would be a good way to promote vendors products.

We are even going to go futher..

I talked this over with the powers that be last night after talking with NJ , so he doesn't even know this until he reads this.


We are going to dedicate a full page or section or forum, whatever you want to call it, just for members bio's and pics of their car/cars.
Up to three pics of car will be allowed and a bio on you, your family, hobbies and of course the car will be also posted.
I would like both, a car build up,times if raced, but more important is about you and your family. As a whole.
This way all are represented and the people most important in your lives are also included. I believe there is more to our cars, or another way of looking at it is our cars are a "part" of our life that should be represented. It is NOT a requirement but a cool way of showing off your ride and your family.
Our cars can be replaced, Our families cannot.


Those who made the new home page were up because they sent stuff in. Those who do at first will be on the members page, then at random I will ask a member at random to pick a featured car or cars every month or so to put on home page.
How does that sound?
That way no accusations of favoritism can be made.

Fast has NOTHING to do with it.
Your 14 sec GN or Turbo Buick is just as important as a member of this board as the next guy. DO NOT let that influence your ride or your decision to send in a bio. It has so much more to do with being a community than it does performance. Yes, faster cars seem to attract attention, however, that DOES NOT make them any more important than you.
Never forget that. We play NO favorites. In fact, I want the everyday driver up as much as any other, hell look at me, My car will run 11.99 and it has 290,000 miles on an untouched longblock. Stock turbo , stock injectored, 290,000 mile motor. Doesn't that make a huge statement? That many miles and still hauls butt. Probobly as well as any 50,000 mile car. If you do not believe me, ask Gofstbuick as he works on the car.
So in closing, Speed and times have nothing to do with it.
You as a member and your family does.
I hope that makes it very clear to all of our members that you do not have to be the fastest or the nicest car out there to be an equal part of our community.
PERIOD!

Bruce just brought this up..

To date we have not had any board member submit anything to us. When they submit it we will get them put up.
