The Black Bitch has been but to sleep untill next spring. Have almost a full tank of non-oxy 93 octane in the tank. What are some recommandations for fuel stabalizers? Stabil? Seafoam? Gallon of Toluene? Car will probably not be started for 4 months and I don't want to gum up the new injectors. All opinions welcome.

Put some Stabil in it. Wifes 4 wheeler sat up for almost a year because of hurricanes and when i pulled the floatbowl it had stalagmites(sp) in it and didn't smell like gas anymore.

Make sure to keep antifreeze in it! But, you probably know that in your area.

The only car I've gotten before that had long term storage was 3 years. A new battery was needed, and I found this pinkish powder in the carb under the float needle while overhauling the carb. The lifters were also noisey

I don't think my Father's GN has been run in 8 years now.

Even thought it's been in a garage under a tarp the fuel system & hydraulic lifters concern me the most. The tires may have that break down they get just by sitting. I don't think it had ANY prep before parking.

I use stabil in everything that goes away for an extended period, my TR, mowers, motorcycles, my snowmobiles that sit from march or april till december,(they sit more than they run) I always put stabil in the sleds and they always fire right up and run great the next season. just make sure, after you put it in the tank to run the engine for a few minutes to circulate some of the product through the rest of the system.
