Buying a car is the WORST FINANCIAL decision a person can make. Never has there been anything that looses value as fast as an automobile.

Well that's not always true Sam. My ex lost her value really fast, and that's why she's my ex.

buying a new car isnt the worst financial decision a person can make but a newly used car u can get at a deal is awsome.... my 99 Camaro bought new 32k sticker 34k I call sell it allday for 18k bought a new 06 trailblazer 34k it has 100k miles can sell it for 17k to the right buyer .... Its all about up keep and what you buy
went 11.40's with a stock long block te-60 artcar converter rebuilt trans fuel pump thdp 50lb inj .. put a larger turbo on it went 10.9 .... it costed a little but I drove this car alot

I work @ a car dealership amd I laugh.... people come in wanting to buy a zr1... its 120k.... min 1800 payment... and they ask why a brake job is so expensive.... about 3k... if u can afford a 1800 car payment u don't cry about a brake job. Lol. Its mind boggling. . U can afford a zr1 amd cant afford a brake job...lol U REALLY CANT AFFORD A ZR1... rich man's toy.

I had to leave the thread. I never considered any of my clients rich. Just smart. The pay off for being that way was whatever they wanted. I can respect that. They respected me.

Since I have been the one stating that, I will take it directed @ me. People who really really have money don't mention owning ferraris nor do they own them. Lol. . I'm not rich by any means. . .but I live a very very happy and comfortable lifestyle And that's good enough for me. . . Oh. . and I will put my american made muscle car against ur overpriced italian super car any day . . . .on the 1/4 mile track or road course. . And yes i will be driving.. Lol . . . Look I'm only stating its a car ur constantly spending money on. . . I love my car. Always have. . .always will. . . But she is an expensive biach! My love and affection towards them keeps me pouring $$$ at them. I want them to be the baddest and the best. I love driving down the street and turning eyes. . . And more so when its something that I worked on amd put together myself. .

Nevertheless, These cars "Turbo Regals" are nothing but man toys....And you might start out saying " im good with a stocker" But eventually most owners start buying Go-Fast parts and never stop Thats when the real fun begins

True. ...and you know what,I can drop a second one heck of a lot less money than some of (maybe all) of these new cars can.

Ask my little brother who wanted to run in the 11's with his '12 SRT8 300. Costly. Then the rear end won't hold up,etc..

I think you would'nt be so quick to say how " CHEAP " it is to maintain a real high HP Turbo Regal $$$$ But if your talking about a bone stock 14 sec TR...That's a whole horse of another color...... Just keep clean oil in it and ride nice n SLOW

no car that runs faster than the low 12's or so is going to be "cheap" if you lean on it a lot. the faster you go, the more it's gonna cost.. that's nothing specific to TR's- it's a pretty universal rule.

These cars are addicting. I know more people with two or three of these cars than any other. I myself had 2 at one time. Parts are cheap and maintenance is cheap.
Anyone want to talk about high prices.... Buy a diesel and start modding it.... Oh and the maintenance on that diesel is going to be rediculous.
