high egts @ part throttle

I'm having a problem with egts climbiing at part throtlte.
The only way I can keep it under 1300f is to run it
real fat (12.5) and keep the throttle follower graph at
zero for that rpm (this is a real pain since the car wants
to die after deceleration). The motor is a mild na ford 306.
Any ideas?

Geez, 1300 at part throttle would not bother me, actually it doesn't as I monitor EGT's as well. I don't think it is a problem.

I had 1450*F before speed pro
i added like 10* of advance at the lower lines and now i have 1250 -1300 on the hiway wich is normal i believe
