thought I'g get the hot air juices flowin.....

NICE, more info on the internals of the motor please ;)

Uhh Ohh... JD and Keith are at it again:p. I cannot wait to see how this is going to turn out:).

More on the build up. BTW, who's tranny are you running with this combo and stall?

I'm on my way........

Ok maybe not literally on the way YET, but soon....

Well...it runs. gonna get some tried and true numbers and run time before I post up detailed info on the build...I'd rather not have peeps read this, and think it's a fool-proof (or foolish) build and then cause any problems for anyone....at least until I have all the bugs worked out and some hard data to back it up....just how I roll i guess. BUT....rest assured, I will be posting a detailed list including part numbers, prices, and purchase locations for everyone to read and reference....so long as it all works out the way I hope it will.

(Chuck---The trans is an Extreme Automatics Stage 2 with trans brake and a Yank 10" lockup)

I like your philosophy.
If that is a TA33 on E85 I a going to guess . . . 11.83@112 on 13 PSI boost. :p

Unable to do it right now, but . . . . think I used 60F, 5400 rpm, 250CID, 13 PSI . . . can’t remember the slip % used . . . and assumed 100% vaporization, 1" intake pressure drop . . yadi yada . . . . also assumed that this motor should breath very well with the AL heads and the E-85 will cool things down pretty well.

Look at the numbers Donnie Wang puts up with a relatively small CID motor. . . . no one would guess off hand it could be done prior to his build.

Me? . . . . I am just playing a numbers game . . . so don’t put much stake in it . . . :p
If it's wrong, it's wrong . . . and may need to regroup, and review the calcs but . . . . . this is why I agree with Keith . . .

Either way . . . some excitement in the HA section is a good thing. . . . :D

You know that gutted intake is gonna slow it down............causes extreme turbo lag........

Pun intended

Jerryl may be on to something... but I think instead of 13lbs, maybe 15-16lbs. My build is similiar to Keith's, except I have ported irons, 86 intake and a TA 61. I also have 3200 9inch convertor. I am subscribed to this post...
