Hey guys, I made my own pump alignment band for the 2004R for cheap and I thought I would share. It is ridiculously easy to make. It consists of 2 hose clamps bought at Home Depot. They are both Tridon brand.
#96 6inch 114mm-165mm
#32 1-9/16" - 2-1/2" (39.7mm-63.5mm)
Total cost was less than $4 CAD. This is significantly less than the cost of a real alignment band, and the function is identical.
The clamps fit perfectly when joined end to end and provide a perfect alignment. Note that in the pic the band is higher on the pump than it would be when actually aligning the halves to make it easier to see.
