Hood Strut Installation.

Ok the new car I got has a bad hood strut, like any other 80's car I ever bought. Its been a while since I installed a hood strut. What is the easiest way? I have searched the board and havent seen anything on installation. So your help would be greatly appreciated.

Just bolt it on... a helper is nice to hold up the hood during the process but not necessary.

Thought it would be more complicated. I did an 87 camaros hood struts (not sure how long ago) and it seemed I had to compress the strut. Ill check it out if its not that hard. Thanks.
