no fire it cranks but no fire ...I will be working on the fuel system tomorrow..

you should check the ignition mod. or the coil pack. that is whats wrong with mine. but im having trouble locating the ignition module on my car. i can see the coil pack right in front of me but i have no clue where the ignition module is located.

The ignition module AKA coil module is attached to the bottom of the coil pak. It has the wiring harness plugged into it. Brad

i have a 86/87 ecu. does that matter what ignition module i get. or can any just due fine. or does it have to be a 86/87 module.

You need an 86/87 module. I have a good after marker used one which means it will not run an after marker tach. Let me know, Thanks-Brad

and i would need a 86/87 coil pack as well. cuz im planing to swap both at the same time.

Do a search for type II coils.

Cheaper,way easier to find in junkyards.
