Howdy,
I recently installed new rotors, pads, S10 wheel cylinders and Kirban's soft compsotion shoes. Now ervery time I get out of the car after driving it smells like burning. I pulled the rear wheels tonight and found some of the rear shoe on the right side had broken off and the shoes seem noticable worn on both sides. This is all after maybe 200 miles of driving. Granted I have a heavy foot but this seems ridiculous.
The drums seem to turn freely around the shoes so they aren't adjusted too tight. By putting on the S10 wheel cylinders did I throw off the balance of front to back braking. Am I only braking with the back now?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Mike
