people converting from MAF to SD? i know its big within the thirdgen community, is it too hard to do on a turbobuick, not work it?

i hear no one doing this...or maybe its been done and i haven't heard about it..so what's the deal

if you go to a DFI or Speedpro you do go to a speed density setup I belive.

Steve Yaklin is developing a new ME that does not require the maf....initial intent is for race purposes only but then, so is the standard ME. The prototypes look very good.

most DFI systems (FAST, etc) are speed density......waiting for Steve's.....

maybe you haven't seen many 'cause they cost $2-3K.....and the stock ecm/maf is good to the 9's

gotcha, yeah i knew the MAF's could go 9's but i sure didn't realize the SD setup could cost $2-3K
