hi, i have a australian vn v6 commodore with the 3.8 ltr engine and 4l60 trans. the 3.8 ltr is pretty well the same as the buick 3.8 ltr as is the trans,.

i have turbo charged (t70) the engine and done up the 4l60 trans with :
3000 rpm high stall
super billet servo
.500 boost valve
shift kit
etc..........

i am using a aftermarket computer to run fuel and ign , the thing is that i cannot controll the tcc on the trans with it.

there are some lockup kits that use a vacuum switch , which i figure wont be much good when i hit boost, some others just have a switch to lock it up whenever u want ..

i am not quiet sure what to do..................

can any body tell me what tcc lockup setup i should be using on my turbo 3.8 ?

thanks, mark k

The vacuum switch might work at light loads. You could set it to lock in 4th with light load. There are kits for this. You could also manualy lock it if you want. Just ground the tcc circuit to lock it. There are several ways you could wire it off of the 3rd and 4th pressure switches if you want to get a little more complex.
