The rear window with the defrost. I took the panel off hiding the 3 brackets. After I remove the 3 brackets is it just a heat gun? Looks like a real pain lol
The glass guys have a tool that slides under the edge of the glass and cuts the old butyl seal. Be careful not to mess up the grid or rip the connector loose though.
You might consider having it done. I paid $90 to have the window removed and resealed by a professional auto glass company. Just food for thought.
I wouldn't try this myself. It's something best left to the glass experts...otherwise, without the right tools, you might end up damaging or breaking something which will eventually cost you more to fix.
