Been seeing alot of mention lately on the board on how important it is to have a roll in the trunk at all times.

Cant stress it enough to the younger generation...KEEP A ROLL TO KEEP YOU ROLLIN!

I blew out a serpentine 20 miles from home once, first try made it about 6 miles, Second try lasted me about 13 miles to my house.

Whos gota story or two?

and dont forget the almighty zip tie, when my son raced karts on dirt after 2 or 3 races that pretty plastic body was 75% duct tape and zip ties

when I was a foreman on a pipeline crew a tie rod broke on a tractor. we could not leave for the day until all the open ditch was back filled. we had about 500' of open ditch when the tie rod broke. broke out the duct tape (2 rolls) & taped it up. finished the job & went to the house.

I rented a motor home in Cleveland, OH and backed into a pole in Denver, CO as I was driving down the highway "80mph" at night I noticed a bright red light in the rear on the passenger side. I pulled over and noticed the whole rear of this Daybreak Motor home was coming apart. lol I guess when I hit that pole it ripped off most of the rivets which allowed the wind to get underneath it "I didn't notice how bad the damage actually was when I hit" I was like Oh sh!t!! I pulled into a TA truck stop in UT and they had 5'' wide duck tape I did the best Nascar duck tape job in the world  It held the rear shell on all the way from UT,ID,OR,WA,CA, and back to OH.

As they say if you cant DUCK it FU@K it  A hillbillies toolbox is duck tape and a hammer. LOL

All you need for tools is WD40 and Duct Tape. If it moves and its not supposed to: Duct Tape! If it doesn't move and it's supposed to: WD40!

We used to call it '100 mile an hour tape' because it would hold our dirt bikes together up to '100 miles an hour'. :) Great stuff that kept us riding for many a weekend!

Blew a radiator hose on a nova I used to have and rapped the pinhole leak portion of the hose and made it 20 miles bak to the house.

Taped up bullet holes in A10 fuselages during desert storm with the mil spec OD Green 100 tape
