Who did you order them from?
What did they quote you for a delivery timeframe?
Wouldn't that question be better answered by the supplier?

mine are not "R" heads but Ted A has a set of 'R's for sale

At this point no. I was just wondering how long it took the person that actually has a set to receive them. That way, I could get an idea of how long I "may" be waiting. :)

Rather not say. I'd like to keep things between the vendor and myself.

No quote. I'm a patient person. I figured the demand for the expensive GN1-R heads can't be that great for me to be on a waiting list.

Please release the vendors name,Its good for the community to know who may be slow to deliver when ordering

It would be bad taste on my part to do that.

After posting this thread, I recieved a phone call updating the progress. Do not know if it was coincidental or not. However, I now know the heads are finished and all that's left is getting the rest of the matching components together.

Did you know that "R" heads dont fit on 3.8 blocks without notching the bore.

champion heads

i have a set of champion R-heads with raised ports and their intake to match the heads, the heads are new never been on a engine they have 165# valve springs. a stock intake cant be ported to match these ports, the intake and heads were ported by champion, i also have t&d shaft offset rockers and champion valve covers made to fit over the offset rocker shaft, 4000 bucks which is 400 less than i paid, i bought them direct from champion, no pictures, price is firm, oc,

Yes I do. It can be done according to one person willing to talk to me about this. Once I get my hands on them, I'll see for myself what needs to be done.

All you have to do is cut about an 1/8" off the side of the valve that interferes. It's an easy and cheap fix.

Not yet,But it wlii most likely be faster than the delivery of these heads
