How much knock is ok?????

Just want to know, how much knock is ok?

I floored it yesterday and I got 7.1 degrees of knock! That seemed very high to me, so I instantly let off the gas.

Also, I tried to nail it again after that, and the car started to sort of let off or bog very lightly, Could that have been the computer letting off because I was detonating when I last floored it.?

BTW, I had a TRASHER 100 chip in the car and I was using a 114(2gal)/92 oct(3gal). mix.

I like to tune for 2 degrees or less max with mostly zero through the run. If real high boost 1 degree or less. You want less than 5 degrees max with mostly zero through the run. Anything over 10 or if you can hear it ping get your foot out of it and fix the problem before you cause damage.

Something is wrong. You should never get knock with a 100 chip and 114 octane, unless your running over 25# of boost

Was the 114 diluted with pump gas?

Could be false knock
