My driveway is somewhat steep and with the suspension setup the way it is the front airdams are scraping the driveway when I enter/exit. I found these BRIDJIT CURB RAMPS, but at $299 + S&H on something that ways in excess of 180lbs seems excessive. I was kinda hoping to find some cheap and portable ramps to do this without having to use a few 2X4s. Maybe even hit the local welding shop to see if they have some excess steel plates to make some ramps or something? Coming in at an angle isn't feasible the way my driveway is setup.

I own the house, but not sure yet if we're staying put...so I don't want to invest in the driveway just yet.

I'll just trim the dams up for you. You saw me cut out my dash bezel so you know I do quality work. Just let me finish up this glass of Jack and I'll be over with the dremel :D.

When I got home one day my road had need paved. It added about 2"-3" height to the road in front of my driveway. I couldn't get my Corvette out at all. I called tham and they came back out and blended a section from the road to about 3 feet into my driveway. They even sat there while I tested going onto the road from the driveway. It still drags a little every now and then. My Vette is about 2" lower than stock.

Curbs and steep driveways suck. Driving my Lambo has become a PITA frightening experience. I have to pick and choose my routes carefully.

Your own driveway shouldn't be one of the many hazards you face in enjoying your cars! I vote for having it blended better. My Rivi has 2-1/4" ground clearance. I know yer pain! I threw a whole dump truck wortha stone into my apron when I bought my home, to re-blend it about 25ft into the drive. The first ten ft are usually taken care of by the county or whoever maintains your specific road, but I didn't want to hassle my buds @ the engineer's office who runs the county road crews since I knew I'd need them for bigger things soon enough.;)
Even concrete replacement would be preferable to having that headache at home.

If I keep the home, then maybe I'll go that route...but I can't even keep my car trailer here because I can't get it up the driveway either. I have to pay to keep it stored on post, but it's only $180 a year to keep it stored in a locked parking lot on an Army post so that's not too bad.
