What's the easiest way to do a boost leak test on our cars? I'm suspecting I may have a boost leak but wan't to be sure before throwing parts at it again. Car seems to loose power sometimes when accelerating normally or even when first starting to boost? All vacuum lines have been replaced, except for the intercooler hoses and the vacuum lines on top of the TB. Is there a good tester that anyone would recommend that is easy to use. Or how else do we all check for boost leaks? Thanks.

Doing a test like they describe is ok. Id personally remove the rocker arms and test the intake with the valves closed.

Remember that the above test will only cover 1/2 the areas when troubleshooting to find the issue.

Many times leaks on the exhaust side will show the same symptoms.
