guys lucky recoil of the shot tilted that barrel away from his face!!! What an IDIOT!!!!

Wow, maybe a test should be required;)

That is one lucky guy. Who looks down a known loaded barrel? I’m really fortunate to have a nice public range about twenty minutes from my house. It’s free and open seven days a week. I usually go during the week when no one is around. It amazes me how ignorantly some people handle a gun. And when I see it I’m not quiet about it.

no way!! That's part of the problem with society today. warning labels on everything, disclaimers on everything, classes for everything, etc.. all that does is retard the natural selection process. and people wonder why America is getting dumber, it's because we're all too soft-hearted to let the morons kill themselves before they can breed. natural selection, like the free market, works best when its left alone!!!

IMO that dude was put on earth, by God, to do SOMETHING, and he ain't done it yet. that's the only reason Mr. Mensa didn't end up with a face-full of #7 shot.

I wonder what he thought he would find looking down that barrel.

guess he found what he was lookin for! now if somebody could find his brain give it back to him before he hurts someone.

call me paranoid, but I look at every gun like it's loaded, even after the clip is dumped and the chamber is cleared.

Wow! Just, wow...

It would be my guess that this kind of stupidity wasn't naturally occurring. It may have had some help from Jim Beam or Jack Daniels.

I don't want to believe this video is real. I can't fathom anyone being that dumb, and I think it's kind of odd that he's filming himself shooting some bottles from just a couple of feet away.

But I do agree that there are a lot of people out there that do not know how to handle a firearm and they scare me to death. My favorite are people that rest their fingers on the trigger, whats funny is that you see this in TV and movies all the time. The other one is a complete lack of muzzle awareness, people like to point their barrels all over the place.

I was taught four simple words in the Marine Corps that sticks with me to this day regarding firearm safety "TREAT, NEVER, KEEP, KEEP"
Treat every weapon as if it were loaded
Never point a weapon at anything you don't intend to shoot
Keep your weapon on safe until you intend to fire
Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you intend to fire

There really are some dumb ass people out there that can't even follow these four even after they have been told. I've seen it.
